The Daily Telegraph - March 2026 National Voter Sentiment Survey

Our latest poll, published exclusively for the Sunday Telegraph, finds Labor holding a narrow lead over the Coalition on TPP terms (51-49), while One Nation has fallen to trail Labor 56-44).

On primary votes, the Coalition and One Nation have drawn level, each on 23%, behind Labor who leads on 30%.

As published yesterday in the Saturday Telegraph, this month’s survey also captured Australians’ views on the fuel crisis.

55% of Australians primarily attribute rising fuel costs to ongoing tensions in the Middle East, compared to 24% blaming the Federal Government, and 15% blaming petrol stations and suppliers.

Despite this, 57% of Australians find the government’s response to the crisis to date has been “poor” or “very poor”.
